On the Montgomery County site, go to "Government", then "Boards, Committees and Commissions" and in the list under
"Women,Commission for", you will find information on the "Commission For Women".
Their web site states that among other goals, "The advisory board, comprised of 15 volunteer citizens from the community:
- focuses primarily on identifying inequities in laws, policies, practices and procedures, and recommending and promoting remedies."
